Parts Desk Insights
Best Use Case: Ideal for boats that need a space-saving folding seat solution without sacrificing structural support—especially on fishing and cabin layouts where weather exposure is common.
Common Issues: If you’re replacing an older folding seat, confirm the pedestal/seat base bolt pattern matches the universal 5" x 5" or 5" x 12" mounting pattern before installation, and inspect any existing mounting hardware/gaskets so the new seat sits flat and secure.
