A complete, ready-to-install seating pedestal in one package. The Springfield Taper-Lock™ Manual Adjustable Pedestal Package pairs a 2-3/8" posi-lock adjustable post with a Trac-Lock™ non-locking swivel, giving you a clean, functional helm or passenger seat base right out of the box. The Taper-Lock™ system uses a precision-machined taper and locking tab to seat the post firmly in the base — no wobble, no rotation — while still allowing quick, tool-free removal when needed.

Best Use Case
Ideal for smaller boats, aluminum fishing boats, and jon boats where a compact, low-profile seated position is needed. The 13"–16" range works well with lower gunwales and shorter seat heights. The non-locking swivel is a good fit for passenger positions or any application where free rotation is preferred over a fixed-lock design. The Taper-Lock™ post system makes it easy to pull the pedestal for storage or trailering.
