The Springfield Taper-Lock™ Power-Rise Stand-Up Pedestal gives you a wide 22-1/2" to 29-1/2" height range with lever-activated adjustment, purpose-built for boaters who stand at the helm. The Taper-Lock™ system uses a precision-machined taper and locking tab to hold the post firmly in the base — no wobble, no rotation — while still allowing quick, tool-free removal when needed.

The 22-1/2" to 29-1/2" range suits most standard gunwale heights and average to tall operators. The Taper-Lock™ system is especially practical for boats where pedestals are removed for storage or trailering.
