Star brite 96132 is a clinging spray-gel hull cleaner formulated to dissolve stubborn staining on fiberglass and painted marine surfaces. The gel consistency adheres to vertical hull sides instead of running off, giving the active oxalic-acid formula longer contact time exactly where it is needed. It targets rust streaks, dried fish blood, leaf and tannin stains, scum-line discoloration, and similar hull staining that routine washing leaves behind.

Is this cleaner acid-free?
No. Star brite 96132 is an oxalic-acid gel formulation. It is a gentler alternative to hydrochloric- and phosphoric-acid cleaners, but it is not acid-free. Do not use it on surfaces not rated for acid contact, including antifouling bottom paint.
Why a gel instead of a liquid cleaner?
The gel consistency clings to vertical hull surfaces instead of running off immediately, allowing the active cleaner more contact time on stubborn stains. This is especially useful on hull sides and transoms where a thin liquid would drain before it has time to work.
Can I use this on my boat trailer?
