The T-H Marine Stainless Steel Wire Mesh Strainer threads directly onto your aerator pump intake to block debris, weeds, and small bait fish from being drawn into the pump. The formed stainless wire mesh is tough enough to handle constant water exposure without corroding or collapsing, while the molded PVC threaded base creates a secure, watertight connection to standard pump intakes.
Unlike plastic dome-style pre-filters, the stainless mesh construction holds its shape under suction and resists crushing — important when your pump is pulling hard in debris-heavy water. It also acts as a bait retention screen, preventing small baitfish from being sucked into the pump and killed.
