A direct replacement hatch gasket for Taylor Made hatches from 1990 to present. The Taylor Made 32-1725 uses a “D”-profile sponge construction that compresses evenly around the hatch perimeter to create a watertight seal between the hatch lens and frame. At 7 feet long, this roll provides enough material for a full perimeter replacement on most standard Taylor Made hatch sizes.
Sponge gaskets are a wear item — UV exposure, compression set, and repeated opening and closing cycles cause them to flatten and lose their sealing ability over time. Replacing the gasket is the most cost-effective way to stop a leaking hatch before water intrusion causes damage below deck.
