When you need a large, walk-on-rated access opening with a secure weather-tight closure, the Tempress 44530 delivers. The 13" × 23" opening is one of the most popular sizes for centre console storage, live well access, and below-deck compartments where you need to reach in with both hands or pass larger gear through. A quarter-turn cam latch drives the gasket firmly into the frame, sealing out spray and rain without tools.
Molded from glass-filled polypropylene, the lid is rigid, UV-stable, and rated for foot traffic — so you can step on it without worry. The patented integral hinge lets you remove the lid entirely when you need full, unobstructed access, and the beveled, skirted edge covers all mounting fasteners for a clean finish above and below deck.
