Tie Down Engineering Hooker Quik-Set Anchor Kit – 5 lb., Model 10HQ
The Tie Down Engineering Hooker Quik-Set Anchor Kit is a complete, ready-to-deploy anchoring solution for boats 20–24 ft. Everything you need is included — anchor, anchor line, galvanized chain, and two shackles — so you can get on the water without hunting for components separately.
The Quik-Set anchor features a “Slip Lock” shank that ensures a proper set regardless of which way the anchor lands on the bottom, eliminating the frustrating repositioning that can happen with traditional fluke anchors. A slip ring design makes retrieval easy in snag-prone areas, and the hot-dipped galvanized finish provides long-lasting corrosion resistance in saltwater and freshwater alike. Compared to economy-grade anchors, the Quik-Set delivers 50% more holding power for its size.

Parts Desk Insights
The Hooker Quik-Set Kit is best suited for boaters who want a complete, ready-to-use anchoring solution without sourcing anchor, line, chain, and shackles separately. The Slip Lock shank is a genuine practical advantage — it eliminates the need to manually orient the anchor before deployment, which is especially useful for solo boaters or those new to anchoring. The slip ring retrieval design is a bonus in areas with rocky or weedy bottoms where anchors commonly snag. For boaters who prefer to source components individually, the Tie Down Engineering Super Hooker Anchor – Model #4 is a good standalone starting point. For complete kits with the Super Hooker anchor, see the Super Hooker Anchor Kit and Super Hooker Anchor Kit (larger).
