Titan 3-Strand Anchor Rode – 5/8" x 150' Nylon Line, 5/16" x 50' Chain, Shackle
A heavy-duty anchor rode combining the breaking strength of 5/8" 3-strand nylon with a substantial 50’ chain lead — the longest chain section in the Titan 5/8" lineup. The extended chain provides excellent catenary effect to keep the pull angle low on the anchor, and offers meaningful abrasion protection on rocky, coral, or shell bottoms. Hand-spliced to Grade 43 high-test galvanized chain, with PVC depth markers pre-installed and a hot-dip galvanized anchor shackle included.

This is the right rode when bottom conditions or anchoring exposure call for serious chain lead. The 50’ of 5/16" chain keeps the pull angle low even in stronger current, reduces the risk of the nylon chafing on a rough bottom, and adds meaningful weight to help the anchor set and stay set. The trade-off is overall weight — this is a heavy rode, and the 150’ of line gives you less total scope than the 200’ or 300’ configurations.
