A windlass-optimised anchor rode in the heavy-duty 5/8" diameter, with a 25’ chain lead that balances catenary performance with manageable overall weight. The 8-plait construction lays flat and feeds smoothly through a windlass gypsy without kinking or hockling. Hand-spliced to Grade 43 high-test galvanized chain, with PVC depth markers pre-installed and a hot-dip galvanized anchor shackle included. The 25’ chain lead sits between the lighter 15’ and heavier 50’ options in this diameter, making it a practical middle-ground choice for most coastal anchoring conditions.
