Titan Chain CAR8P12150H1450 Eight-Strand Anchor Rode – 1/2" x 150' Line, 1/4" x 50' Chain
A complete, ready-to-deploy anchor rode combining 150 feet of 1/2" eight-strand nylon rope with 50 feet of 1/4" Grade 43 high-test galvanized windlass chain. The rope is hand-spliced to the chain and features a heat-sealed bitter end for a clean, durable finish. Pre-installed reinforced PVC depth markers let you monitor scope at a glance, and the included Grade A hot-dip galvanized anchor shackle connects directly to your anchor — no additional hardware required.

Best suited for powerboats and sailboats in the 25–40 foot range anchoring in moderate conditions where a 1/2" rode is appropriate for the vessel's displacement and typical anchorage depths. The 50' of chain provides good catenary weight and abrasion resistance on the bottom, while the 150' of nylon rope gives adequate scope for most coastal anchorages. The eight-strand construction is windlass-compatible and handles better than three-strand in a windlass gypsy. If you need more rope length for deeper anchorages, consider the 250' version (CAR8P12250H1450). If you prefer three-strand rope, the CAR3S12150H1450 offers the same chain and shackle in a three-strand configuration.
