The Uflex A96MY29 is a heavy-duty single-cylinder tie bar for twin outboard setups using hydraulic steering. Designed for Mercury and Yamaha engine combinations with 26–29" center-to-center spacing, this tie bar connects both engines to a single hydraulic cylinder while still allowing each motor to tilt independently — a key advantage over rigid tie bar designs.
Constructed from 304 grade electropolished and passivated stainless steel, the A96MY29 is cut-to-length for a precise fit within the specified range and is rated for counter-rotating twin-engine setups up to 500 HP combined. It is designed to work specifically with the Uflex UC128 hydraulic steering cylinder.
