This is the genuine Volvo Penta OEM water-side sealing ring for the lower-gear shaft sealing system on DPH, DPR, DPI, and selected IPS drives. It is the last seal in the multi-piece shaft sealing stack and is included in the complete Sealing Ring Kit 23553896. It replaces the earlier sealing ring 3863083 and should not be confused with companion seal 22876833, which replaces 3863082 and sits earlier in the stack.
