It provides protection against freezing, overheating, corrosion, cavitation, and internal deposit build-up, with a four-year change interval that reduces routine maintenance. This coolant is supplied ready mixed at 40% concentration and is ready to use directly from the container.
Important: Do not mix VCS Yellow coolant with Volvo Penta Green coolant. The two systems use different additive packages and are not compatible. Volvo Penta also specifies that VCS Yellow coolant should not be used together with a coolant filter.
