Slow-Cure Epoxy Hardener for Warm Conditions & Detailed Work
The West System 206 Slow Hardener gives you more time to work — with a pot life of 20–25 minutes at 22°C (72°F), it’s the right choice when you need extended open time for wetting out large fabric sections, working in warm shop conditions, or applying careful, detail-oriented laminating work. Mixed 5:1 with West System 105 Epoxy Resin, it cures to a rigid, high-strength, moisture-resistant solid.
This 208 ml (0.44 pt) bottle is the smallest available size — ideal for small repairs, trial batches, or keeping on hand as a backup when your primary hardener runs low mid-project.

Parts Desk Insights
Best Use Case: The 206 Slow Hardener is the go-to recommendation for customers working in warm conditions (above 21°C / 70°F), doing large fabric wet-outs, or anyone who’s newer to epoxy work and wants more time to get things right. The C206A small size is best for customers doing a single small repair or trying the system for the first time — steer higher-volume users toward the C206B (0.86 qt) or larger. If a customer is working in very hot conditions or doing a large pour, suggest stepping up to the 209 Extra Slow Hardener for maximum working time. Remind customers to use the 300 Mini Pumps to ensure accurate 5:1 metering — ratio errors are the most common cause of soft or tacky cures.
