The Whale BP0527 is a manual sanitation waste pump designed for marine toilet and holding tank systems. Built from high-quality ABS plastic, it handles waste transfer efficiently without requiring electrical power — making it a reliable choice for sailboats, powerboats, and vessels where simplicity and low maintenance are priorities.
The pump mounts directly to a bulkhead in multiple orientations, giving you flexibility during installation in tight bilge or head compartments. Large non-choke valves prevent blockages during operation, and the sealed plastic housing contains odours effectively. When maintenance is needed, the pump disassembles without tools for quick cleaning.
- Manual operation — no electrical connection required
- High-quality ABS plastic construction
- Multi-orientation bulkhead mount included
- Large non-choke valves for reliable waste flow
- Sealed housing for effective odour containment
- Tool-free disassembly for easy cleaning
- Flow rate: 14.75 gallons per minute

Best Use Case: Best suited for manual marine toilet and holding tank discharge applications where a simple, non-electric waste pump is needed. Ideal for sailboats, smaller powerboats, or as a backup pump in vessels with existing electric macerator systems. The 1-1/2" ports are a direct match for standard sanitation hose.
Compatible Products:
- Seachoice Odor-Guard Premium PVC Sanitation Hose 1-1/2" x 50' (23581)
- Seachoice Premium PVC Sanitation Hose 1-1/2" x 50' (23595)

Parts Desk Insights: This is a manual-only pump — it has no motor and requires physical actuation. Customers upgrading from a manual system to electric should consider the Whale Gulper Grouper 12V Evacuation Pump instead. Confirm your hose diameter before ordering — the 1-1/2" ports are standard for most marine sanitation systems, but some older installations use 1" or 3/4" hose. The bulkhead mount bracket is included; no separate mounting hardware is required.
