This kit is the correct choice for older two-stroke Sea-Doo models running the 720 or 951 engine — not to be confused with the 4-Tec kits (003645 / 003646) which serve a completely different pump design. It’s most commonly needed when a craft shows reduced thrust, shaft play, or pump noise after years of seasonal use. The inclusion of both thrust bearing and thrust washer alongside the needle bearing makes this a proper rebuild rather than a partial fix — important on pumps of this age where multiple wear components are typically at end-of-life simultaneously. Confirm your engine displacement and model year before ordering, as the 720 and 951 share this kit but the 4-Tec platform does not.
