MasterGuard is the only hub system in the world backed by a Lifetime Warranty, even if the propeller is destroyed. In most cases the hub is reusable after a strike, and if it’s not, it’s covered. The Model 11 is one of several 10 Series MasterGuard kits for the 3.5" gearcase, each covering a different engine application within the 25–75hp range. It’s most commonly needed when a customer is building a new Hustler® or Express Mach3® propeller setup for a mid-range outboard, or replacing a hub after a prop strike. Because multiple Model numbers exist for this gearcase size, always confirm the correct kit against the Turning Point application chart using the engine make, model, and year before recommending one. Compare with the Model 12 and Model 13 for alternate fitments. Remind customers that only the housing needs to be replaced after a prop strike — not the hub — which keeps replacement costs down.
