The Scotty Mini Power Grip Plus Release is a compact, streamlined downrigger line release designed for trollers who want precise, adjustable release tension in a small, snag-free package. The 18" monofilament leader and stacking self-locating snap make it easy to rig and stack multiple releases on a single downrigger cable.
Release tension is set by moving the fishing line in or out of the soft grip jaws — the further in, the more tension required to trigger the release. The built-in tension adjuster doubles the holding power when you need it, making this release versatile enough for light-tackle trout to heavier salmon setups.
