The Raymarine RV-220 is a pair of bronze thru-hull transducers designed for Raymarine’s RealVision 3D sonar system on metal, timber, and steel-hulled vessels. Where plastic transducers are not compatible with the hull material, bronze is the correct choice — it bonds properly with metal and timber hulls, resists galvanic corrosion when correctly installed with appropriate isolation, and delivers the same High CHIRP RealVision 3D performance as the plastic variants.
Installed port and starboard through the hull, the RV-220 pair works together to generate the immersive 3D sonar imagery that RealVision delivers — a detailed, three-dimensional picture of the bottom, structure, and fish targets beneath and around the vessel. The conical High CHIRP beam provides superior target separation and wide coverage of the water column directly below the hull.
The 20" cable length gives flexibility in positioning the transducer body inside the hull — useful on deeper-deadrise hulls or thicker hull sections where the installation point is further from the hull skin. The kit includes an 8m transducer extension cable, a split transducer Y-cable, and both port and starboard thru-hull transducers.
⚠️ Adapter required for some configurations: The DV Adaptor Cable A80490 is required for use with Axiom RV, Axiom Pro-RVX, and RVX1000 RealVision 3D installations. Confirm your display model and connection requirements before ordering.

The 20" cable gives the extra reach needed for thicker hull sections common on metal and timber construction. Bronze transducers require proper installation with appropriate isolation hardware to prevent galvanic corrosion — confirm your installation plan includes the correct fairing block and isolation materials for your hull type.
Heads up: If your hull is fibreglass or composite, the plastic versions — RV-312 (12") or RV-320 (20") — are the correct and more economical choice. If you need a 12" cable rather than 20", the RV-212 is the bronze short-cable alternative. Confirm whether your display requires the A80490 DV Adaptor Cable before ordering — it is required for Axiom RV, Axiom Pro-RVX, and RVX1000 installations and is sold separately.
