The Raymarine Ray53 is a compact fixed-mount VHF radio that delivers Class D DSC distress calling and a built-in GPS/GNSS receiver in a slim, helm-friendly package. Program your vessel’s MMSI number and you’re immediately equipped with the enhanced safety and calling features of DSC — including one-touch distress alerting with your GPS position automatically embedded in the signal.
Designed to integrate seamlessly with the Raymarine Axiom family of chartplotter displays, the Ray53 connects via NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 networking, allowing it to share GPS data and DSC call information across your onboard electronics. An audio output connection supports an optional passive remote speaker for secondary helm or cabin audio, and both surface and trunnion mount kits are included for flexible installation.
