TACO Suproflex Rub Rail Insert Only – Large, 100 ft., Chrome
This is the replacement chrome insert for TACO's Suproflex Large rub rail system — sold as insert only, without the rail extrusion. If your existing V119970-series Suproflex rail is in good shape but the insert is worn, faded, or damaged, this 100-foot roll lets you refresh the look and protection of your hull without replacing the entire system.
The Suproflex insert is co-extruded with two levels of vinyl hardness: a rigid backing that locks into the channel and a softer durometer front face that absorbs impact from docks, pilings, and other vessels. The result is a rub rail that protects more effectively than traditional single-durometer vinyl while remaining lightweight and flexible enough to follow most hull curves without pre-forming or significant heating.

This insert is designed specifically for the Suproflex Large channel profile (V119970 series). It is not compatible with Suproflex Small or Medium rail extrusions, nor with standard TACO vinyl insert profiles. Before ordering, confirm your rail extrusion part number — it is typically stamped on the back of the extrusion. A 100-foot roll covers most vessels up to approximately 50–65 feet depending on hull layout and how the rail wraps the transom.
