Ancor Marine Grade™ Tinned Battery Lugs — 1/2" Fastener, 2/0 AWG, 2-Pack
Built for the highest-current connections on board, these Ancor tinned copper battery lugs handle 2/0 AWG cable with a 1/2" fastener hole — the combination you need when terminating heavy battery cables to large-stud posts, high-capacity bus bars, or big inverter terminals. Pure copper construction keeps resistance low and current flow high, while the tin plating fights corrosion in salt air and bilge environments. The closed-barrel end seals the cable entry against moisture intrusion, protecting the termination from the inside out.
The 2-pack format is ideal for a single battery connection (positive and negative) or a quick repair without committing to a full bulk pack.

The 252297 is the right call when you’re terminating 2/0 AWG cable to a battery or bus bar with a 1/2" stud — the largest common fastener size on marine battery terminals, heavy inverter posts, and commercial-grade bus bars. If your stud is 3/8", step down to the 252296. If you’re wiring a full battery bank or stocking a service shop, the 242297 10-Pack brings the cost per lug down significantly. For even heavier cable (3/0 AWG), the 252717 keeps the same 1/2" fastener. Always confirm cable gauge before ordering — a lug barrel that’s too small for the cable is the most common termination mistake.
