Right-Angle NMEA 2000 Connector for Tight Spaces and Clean Routing
The Ancor NMEA 2000 90° Elbow Connector solves one of the most common challenges in marine electronics installation: routing network cables in confined spaces without putting stress on the connectors or cable jackets. Installed between two standard NMEA 2000 cables, it redirects the cable run at a right angle — allowing a compact, low-profile installation behind helm panels, inside electronics enclosures, or anywhere a straight connector would create a sharp bend or awkward cable run.
The elbow design reduces mechanical stress at the connection point, helping to protect both the cable and the connector over the long term.
Compatible Applications
- Helm panel and console installations with limited depth clearance
- Electronics enclosures and nav station cable management
- Chartplotter and MFD connections where a straight connector would create cable strain
- Any NMEA 2000 backbone or drop cable run requiring a 90° direction change
- Tight bulkhead and under-dash routing

🔧 Parts Desk Insights
Best use case: This elbow connector is the right solution when a straight NMEA 2000 connector would force a sharp cable bend behind a helm panel or inside an electronics enclosure — a situation that stresses the cable jacket and can cause intermittent network faults over time. It’s particularly useful at the back of a chartplotter or MFD mounted flush in a panel where there’s minimal depth clearance. If you’re building a new NMEA 2000 network from scratch, start with a Starter Kit and add this elbow where tight routing is needed.
