The Arco IG013 is one of the most versatile inboard ignition coils in the Arco lineup, covering MerCruiser 4-cylinder, V6, and V8 engines with conventional ignition systems, as well as OMC Stern Drive, Volvo Penta, Chrysler Inboard, and Crusader applications. It also fits select outboard applications. If you’re servicing a conventional-ignition inboard from any of these major brands, the IG013 is the coil to check first.
Important: When used on MerCruiser GM V6 or V8 engines with Thunderbolt IV or Thunderbolt V ignition, an external resistor is required. Verify your ignition system type before installing.
