Groco ARG-756 Drain Wingnut & O-Ring — ARG Strainers August 2001 & Newer
Replace a worn, cracked, or leaking drain wingnut on your Groco ARG raw-water strainer with this genuine replacement part. The ARG-756 fits all ARG series strainers manufactured from August 2001 onward and includes the wingnut and its O-ring as a matched set — ensuring a proper seal when reinstalled.
The drain wingnut is the small threaded plug at the base of the strainer body used to drain the strainer for winterization or service. The O-ring seats against the strainer body to prevent raw-water weeping at the drain point. Replacing both together is the correct practice — reusing an old O-ring on a new wingnut (or vice versa) risks a poor seal.
