The Forespar Twist-Lock Tiller Extension (104017) delivers reliable, full-reach helm control for sailors who need to steer from anywhere in the cockpit. Built on the same proven platform as the Forespar 104016, this model offers an extended reach — ideal for wider cockpits and larger boats where maximum distance from the tiller is required.
A stainless steel universal joint at the tiller end allows smooth, unrestricted movement in any direction without binding or stiffness. The anodized aluminum tube (3/4" tapering to 5/8") keeps the extension light and rigid, while a rubber compound ball grip at the handle end provides a secure, comfortable hold in all conditions. The powder-coated finish stands up to saltwater exposure.
Forespar's twist-lock quick-release system makes attachment and removal effortless: depress the plunger, insert the detent pin into the supplied tubular tiller fitting, and you're locked in. One push releases it instantly — no tools required.
