Product Description
The Jabsco 18673-0001-P is a 10-blade neoprene flexible impeller kit for compatible marine engine-cooling, bilge, transfer and general-purpose pumps. It features a brass pin-drive hub and is sized for Jabsco 2620-series self-priming pumps and other pump assemblies using the same Profile I impeller specification.

This part should not be selected by diameter alone. Several Jabsco impellers share a 2-inch diameter but differ in blade count, shaft diameter, hub design and material.
When This Part Needs Replacement
Replace the impeller when:
- Raw-water or exhaust-water flow becomes weak
- Engine or generator temperature begins rising
- The pump struggles to prime
- Vanes become cracked, hardened or permanently curved
- Blade tips are damaged or missing
- The hub or drive pin shows wear
- The pump has operated dry
- Annual preventive cooling-system service is due
Flexible impellers should generally be replaced at least annually, or sooner when engine duty and operating conditions are severe.
Installation Notes
- Stop the engine or generator and isolate the starting circuit.
- Close the raw-water intake seacock.
- Remove the pump end cover and old gasket.
- Pull the impeller using a proper removal tool or suitable pliers gripping the hub.
- Do not pry against the pump face with a screwdriver.
- Retrieve missing vane fragments from hoses, heat exchangers and oil coolers.
- Inspect the pump bore, cam, cover plate, shaft and drive pin.
- Lubricate the new impeller before installation.
- Align the hub slot with the shaft pin.
- Install the supplied cover gasket and reinstall the end cover.
- Reopen the seacock and verify strong water flow immediately after startup.
Lubricating the new impeller makes installation easier and protects the blades during initial priming.
