The Leland V90000-84204Z inflatable PFD rearming kit is designed for compatible automatic/manual pull life jackets equipped with a Halkey-Roberts V90000-series 6F inflator. The kit restores the inflation system after deployment and includes a 24-gram CO₂ cylinder with a 1/2-inch threaded connection, a green indicator clip, a yellow water-sensing bobbin and rearming instructions.

This kit is used with compatible inflatable PFDs fitted with a Halkey-Roberts V90000-series automatic inflator requiring a 24-gram CO₂ cylinder and 1/2-inch threaded connection. Referenced applications include selected models from Airhead, Bluestorm, Cabela's, Coleman Stearns, Float-Tech, Guardian, Kent Onyx, NRS, Sagittarius, Takashina, Viking and other brands using the specified inflator system.
Fitment Notice
Confirm the rearming number printed on the PFD, inflator or sewn-in service label before ordering. The correct system must specify V90000-84204Z, a 24-gram CO₂ cylinder and a 1/2-inch threaded neck. Do not match a rearming kit by cylinder appearance or PFD brand alone, as similar inflatable life jackets may require a different gas capacity, thread or inflator mechanism.
When This Kit Needs Replacement
- After the PFD has inflated automatically or by pulling the manual activation handle.
- When the CO₂ cylinder has been punctured or discharged.
- If the cylinder is rusty, corroded, dented or otherwise damaged.
- When the water-sensing bobbin has expired, deteriorated or been exposed to moisture.
- If the green status indicator is missing, broken or does not show the armed condition.
- Whenever the PFD manufacturer's inspection schedule requires fresh rearming components.
Installation Notes
- Completely deflate and dry the PFD before beginning the rearming process.
- Remove the used cylinder, spent bobbin and old indicator clip.
- Install the new water-sensing bobbin and green indicator clip as directed in the PFD owner's manual.
- Thread the 24-gram cylinder into the inflator carefully to avoid cross-threading.
- Confirm that all inflator indicators show the armed or ready condition.
- Inspect the bladder, oral inflation tube, pull handle and inflator body before repacking the PFD.
- Follow the life-jacket manufacturer's exact folding and repacking procedure.
- Do not expose the pressurized cylinder to temperatures above 50°C.
