Brand: Racor
Type: Gasoline spin-on fuel/water separator assembly with clear bowl
Filtration: 10 micron
Fuel type: Gasoline only

Product Overview

The Racor B32013 is a complete 10-micron gasoline spin-on fuel/water separator assembly with a reusable clear collection bowl, designed specifically for outboard engine fuel systems. The clear bowl allows quick visual inspection of water and debris accumulation without disassembly, and the self-venting drain makes it easy to remove collected water between filter changes. Aquabloc® II filter media removes approximately 99% of free water and fine particulate contamination before fuel reaches the engine.

  • Complete spin-on fuel/water separator assembly — includes filter element and clear bowl
  • 10-micron Aquabloc® II filtration — removes approximately 99% of free water
  • Clear reusable collection bowl for visual water and contamination monitoring
  • Self-venting drain for easy water removal between filter changes
  • Electrostatically applied powder-coat housing for corrosion resistance
  • Replacement filter element: S3213
  • Clear bowl assembly: RK 30475
  • Max flow: 60 GPH
  • Thread: 11/16"-16 (Quicksilver-style filter head)
  • Max pressure: 7 PSI
  • Fuel type: Gasoline only
  • Weight: 756 g

Outboard / Above-Deck Use Only: The clear plastic bowl is approved for outboard engine applications and above-deck installations. Inboard gasoline installations require a metal-bowl version per applicable safety requirements. Confirm your installation type before ordering.

Compatible Applications

  • Outboard engine fuel systems with compatible Mercury/Quicksilver-style filter heads (11/16"-16 thread)
  • Outboard fuel systems using Yamaha, Suzuki, Volvo Penta, or Sierra filter heads with 11/16"-16 thread
  • Above-deck gasoline fuel system installations requiring a 10-micron water separator
  • Any outboard or above-deck application within the 60 GPH / 7 PSI rating

Fitment Note: This assembly uses an 11/16"-16 thread (Quicksilver-style filter head). Confirm your filter head thread specification before ordering. This is a gasoline-rated assembly only — not for diesel fuel systems.

Service Information

Replace the S3213 filter element according to the engine or fuel system manufacturer’s service schedule, or sooner if fuel flow is restricted, contamination is visible in the clear bowl, or excessive water accumulates. Drain collected water from the clear bowl as needed between filter changes using the self-venting drain.

Installation Notes

  • Spin the filter assembly onto a compatible 11/16"-16 filter head and ensure the gasket seats correctly — hand-tighten plus 3/4 turn, do not over-tighten
  • Position the clear bowl where it can be inspected and drained safely
  • After installation, prime the fuel system per the engine manufacturer’s procedure
  • Inspect all connections for leaks before starting the engine
  • Do not use in inboard gasoline installations — clear bowl is for outboard / above-deck use only

Technical FAQ

What is the replacement filter element for B32013? The B32013 uses the S3213 10-micron Aquabloc® II replacement element. The Sierra 18-7919 is a compatible cross-reference element.

Can I use this filter on an inboard gasoline engine? No — the clear plastic bowl is approved for outboard and above-deck applications only. Inboard gasoline systems require a metal-bowl Racor assembly.

What filter head thread does this use? The B32013 uses an 11/16"-16 thread, compatible with Quicksilver-style filter heads and many Mercury, Yamaha, Suzuki, Volvo Penta, and Sierra filter heads using the same thread format.

How often should the element be replaced? Follow the engine manufacturer’s service schedule. Visually inspect the clear bowl regularly and drain collected water as needed. Replace the element sooner if fuel restriction symptoms appear or significant contamination is visible.

Parts Desk Insights

The B32013 is the complete spin-on assembly — bowl and element included — as opposed to just the replacement element (S3213). The most important fitment question is always thread confirmation: the 11/16"-16 Quicksilver-style thread fits many outboard filter heads, but confirm before ordering. The second most common issue is customers ordering this for an inboard installation — the clear bowl is outboard / above-deck only, and the customer will need a metal-bowl version for inboard use. Also note the 7 PSI max pressure rating — confirm the fuel system pressure is within spec before installation.
