Full-Swing Vertical Mount for Flexible Display Positioning
The RAM RAM-109V is a single swing arm mounting system designed for vertical surface installation — ideal for mounting to the side of a console, a cabin wall, or any vertical panel where you need a display to swing out, rotate, and lock into the perfect viewing position. Unlike ball-and-socket systems, the RAM-109V uses a rigid bent swing arm with two independent 360° pivot points, giving you a wide range of motion with a solid, mechanical feel.
The 6" bent arm keeps the display offset from the mounting surface, and the two pivot points — one at the base and one at the plate end — allow you to swing the display out, angle it toward the viewer, and lock it in place. The wide 6-1/4" x 2" rectangular plate accommodates a broad range of marine electronics with its multiple pre-drilled hole patterns.

Vertical vs. Horizontal — Choosing the Right Orientation

Best use case: This mount is the right call when a customer needs to mount a display on a vertical surface — the side of a helm console, a cabin bulkhead, or a panel — and wants the ability to swing it out for viewing and tuck it back when not in use. The two pivot points give more range of motion than a single-pivot arm, and the rigid swing arm feel is preferred by some customers over the micro-adjustability of ball-and-socket systems. It's a particularly good fit for cabin or below-deck installs where the display needs to fold away. Confirm the customer's mounting surface is vertical before ordering — for horizontal surfaces, the horizontal swing arm version is the correct choice.
