The Raymarine GA200 is a compact external GPS/GNSS antenna designed to improve position fix accuracy and acquisition speed on compatible Raymarine chartplotters, AIS transceivers, and VHF radios. When an internal antenna is obstructed by a hardtop, radar arch, or helm enclosure, the GA200 provides a clear sky view from an optimal mounting location — delivering faster, more reliable satellite lock.

Best use case: The GA200 is the go-to fix when a Raymarine chartplotter, AIS, or VHF radio is installed below a hardtop, inside a helm enclosure, or anywhere the internal GPS antenna struggles to maintain a reliable lock. It’s particularly common on center consoles and cruisers where the MFD is recessed into a dash and the internal antenna has limited sky view. The 33 ft cable covers most single-station installations without needing the extension kit — but for flybridge or mast-top mounting, add the 5 m Extension Cable Kit. Note that the Ray73 VHF and Ray53 VHF both have built-in GPS — the GA200 is only needed on those radios if the internal antenna is obstructed or the position accuracy is insufficient for DSC/AIS use.
