RealVision 3D High CHIRP Sonar — Plastic Thru-Hull Transducer Pair, 20"
The Raymarine RV-320 is a pair of plastic thru-hull transducers designed for Raymarine’s RealVision 3D sonar system. Installed port and starboard through the hull, they work together to generate the immersive 3D sonar imagery that RealVision delivers — showing you a detailed, three-dimensional picture of the bottom, structure, and fish targets beneath and around the vessel.
The conical High CHIRP beam pattern provides superior target separation and resolution compared to traditional single-frequency sonar, with the wide conical coverage giving you a broad view of the water column directly below the hull. Plastic construction makes these transducers well suited to fibreglass and composite hulls, and the 20" cable length gives flexibility in positioning during installation.
The kit includes everything needed for a complete installation: an 8m transducer extension cable, a split transducer Y-cable, and both port and starboard thru-hull transducers.
⚠️ Adapter required for some configurations: The DV Adaptor Cable A80490 is required for use with Axiom RV, Axiom Pro-RVX, and RVX1000 RealVision 3D installations. Confirm your display model and connection requirements before ordering.

Best use case: The RV-320 is the right choice for fibreglass and composite hull vessels being fitted with Raymarine RealVision 3D sonar where the 20" cable length suits the hull thickness and installation geometry. The plastic construction is the standard choice for fibreglass hulls — it’s lighter, easier to work with, and doesn’t require the same fairing considerations as bronze. The 20" cable (vs. the 12" on the RV-312) gives more flexibility in positioning the transducer body inside the hull, which is useful on deeper-deadrise hulls or where the installation point is further from the hull skin. The conical High CHIRP beam is optimised for the RealVision 3D imaging system — these transducers are not interchangeable with standard single-element CHIRP transducers.
Heads up: If your hull is metal or timber, the bronze versions — RV-212 or RV-220 — are the correct choice. Confirm whether your display requires the A80490 DV Adaptor Cable before ordering — it is required for Axiom RV, Axiom Pro-RVX, and RVX1000 installations and is sold separately. Contact us with your display model if you need help confirming the correct cable configuration.
