The Scotty 374 Sure Stop Terminal Kit is a purpose-built termination solution for downrigger lines — particularly braided line — that ensures your cannonball weight stops reliably short of the pulley on every retrieve. The kit uses a heavy-duty stainless steel crane swivel as the stopper, which attaches directly to your line and triggers the auto-stop on the downrigger. No separate stopper beads required.
