Purpose-built for Volvo Penta applications — confirm fitment against Sierra's current application guide by engine model and year before ordering. Replace the impeller kit at the start of each season or every 100–200 hours of operation, whichever comes first. Always inspect the pump housing, wear plate, and cam for scoring or grooves before installing a new impeller — a damaged housing will destroy a new impeller quickly. Never run the water pump dry, even briefly. Lubricate the impeller with dish soap or glycerin during installation; never use petroleum-based lubricants. This is a kit — verify all included components against your pump assembly before closing up.
