The Hustler 9x10 is a 3-blade aluminum propeller engineered for small outboard engines in the 6–20 hp range with 2.5" gearcases. One pitch step above the Hustler 9x9, the 10" pitch is suited to boats that can carry a bit more load and still reach the upper end of the engine's WOT RPM range — delivering slightly more top-end speed where conditions allow.
Like all Hustler props, it brings stainless steel blade geometry and squeeze-cast construction to an aluminum price point. The exclusive squeeze-casting process produces a denser, stiffer blade with less flex under load than traditional die-cast aluminum props — resulting in better efficiency, more consistent performance, and improved durability. A five-step Ultracoat™ powder-coated finish provides long-lasting corrosion resistance and a high-gloss appearance.

Required Hub Kit
A hub/installation kit is required and sold separately. This propeller uses 200 Series hub kits only. See the MasterGuard Hub Kit 208 – 200 Series for a common fit, and refer to the application chart for the correct part number for your specific engine.
Parts Desk Insights
Best Use Case: Best suited to lighter aluminum fishing boats, inflatables, and small tiller-steer outboards where the engine consistently reaches the top of its WOT RPM range on the 9x9. The extra inch of pitch will pull the RPM down slightly and add a small amount of top-end speed on boats that can handle it. If the engine struggles to reach WOT RPM with the 10" pitch, step back down to the Hustler 9x9.
Pitch Selection Tip: As a general rule, each inch of pitch change moves WOT RPM by approximately 150–200 RPM. Always confirm the engine's recommended WOT RPM range and test accordingly. Over-propping a small outboard can cause premature wear and reduced performance.
Aluminum vs. Stainless: At 6–20 hp, the performance gap between aluminum and stainless is minimal (typically 0.5–1 mph). The Hustler aluminum is an excellent value at this power range — stainless is harder to justify unless the customer frequently strikes debris.
Hub Kit Note: This prop uses 200 Series hub kits only — not compatible with 500 or 700 Series kits. Confirm the correct kit number from the application chart. The Hub Kit 208 covers many common 2.5" gearcase applications.
