Sierra 18-3306 Johnson Pump F6 / Jabsco Impeller Repair Kit
Part Number: 18-3306 (Sierra) | Brand: Sierra | UPC: 030999975690
Sierra 18-3306 is a neoprene flexible-impeller repair kit for Johnson Pump F6-series marine raw-water pumps and compatible Jabsco applications. The kit restores dependable raw-water circulation through the engine cooling system when the original impeller is worn, hardened, cracked, or has lost blade material.
Sierra specifies 18-3306 for all F6 Johnson Pumps and identifies it as the replacement for Johnson Pump 09-812B / 09-812B-1. It also cross-references to Jabsco 13554-0001. The kit includes the impeller and replacement O-ring 18-7123.

Compatible Applications
Match this impeller by the installed pump number and original impeller reference — not engine horsepower alone. Documented applications include:
- All compatible Johnson Pump F6 raw-water pumps
- Johnson Pump F6B-9 (10-24946-01) installations
- Indmar Monsoon 320, 325, 330, 335, 340 and 350 hp

- Indmar carbureted LCR and 8.1L engines
- Indmar Ford Raptor 400, 450 and 575
- Supra, Moomba, MasterCraft and Tige boats using applicable Indmar engines
- Challenger 5.7L engines used in compatible Axis wake boats
- 2022-and-newer Malibu and Axis M5 and M6 applications
- 2019–2021 M5 and M6 applications converted to the newer pump-housing design
- Jabsco pumps cross-referencing 13554-0001
- Yanmar marine engines cross-referencing 119773-42600
Note on Malibu / Axis 2019–2021: Some of these model years changed pump designs mid-production. Confirm the pump housing has been converted to the newer configuration before ordering this kit.
Fitment Notice
Before ordering, confirm all of the following for your pump:
- Pump is a Johnson F6 / F6B-9 or equivalent cross-reference
- Original impeller matches 09-812B / 09-812B-1, 13554-0001, or S685007
- Outside diameter is approximately 57.1–57.2 mm (2-1/4 in.)
- Width is approximately 48.2–49.2 mm (1.90–1.94 in.)
- Hub drive is splined
- Blade count is 12
Johnson F5, F6 and F7 impellers look very similar but differ significantly in width and hub configuration. The F6 impeller (09-812B-1) is 57.1 mm diameter × 48.2 mm wide per SPX Flow specifications. Do not select by diameter alone.
When to Replace the Impeller
Replace the impeller when any of the following are found:
- Vanes are cracked, split, torn, or permanently bent
- Blade tips are missing or partially missing
- Blades have hardened and lost flexibility
- Raw-water discharge is reduced or absent
- Engine runs hotter than normal despite correct coolant level
- The pump has been operated dry — even briefly
- The impeller's service history is unknown
- Annual cooling-system maintenance is due
If blade material is missing, inspect all downstream passages — oil coolers, heat exchangers, thermostat housings, and hoses — before restarting the engine.
Installation Notes
- Close the raw-water intake seacock and disconnect the battery before opening the pump
- Remove the pump cover and note the original impeller orientation (blade curl direction)
- Extract the old impeller without scoring the housing bore
- Inspect the cover plate, cam, shaft, and pump body bore for wear — a scored or oval bore will shorten the life of any new impeller
- Recover all missing impeller fragments from the cooling system before proceeding
- Lightly lubricate the replacement impeller with glycerine or a suitable water-based impeller lubricant
- Align the splined hub with the pump shaft and seat the impeller fully
- Install the supplied O-ring (18-7123) and any application-specific gasket required
- Tighten the cover screws evenly in a cross pattern
- Reopen the seacock before starting the engine
- Run the engine and verify strong raw-water discharge at the exhaust and inspect the pump for leaks

Parts Desk Insights
Best use case: The Sierra 18-3306 is a reliable annual-service impeller for any F6-equipped Indmar inboard — Monsoon, Raptor, and Hammerhead engines all use this kit. It's widely stocked, cross-references cleanly to both the OEM Johnson 09-812B-1 and the Jabsco 13554-0001, and the included O-ring means you have everything needed to complete the service without a separate parts run. If you're servicing the pump at the same time as other seasonal maintenance, this is the impeller to have on the shelf.
Common issues: The most common fitment mistake is confusing the F6 impeller with the similar-looking F5. Both are approximately 2-1/4 in. in diameter, but the F6 is noticeably wider at approximately 1.9 in. (48 mm) versus the F5 at roughly 1.6 in. (40 mm). If the impeller doesn't seat fully in the housing, it's the wrong width. Always cross-check the original impeller number — 09-812B / 13554-0001 / S685007 — before ordering. The second issue is installing a new impeller into a scored pump housing: if the bore is rough or damaged, the new impeller will wear out quickly. Inspect the housing carefully while the pump is open and replace the complete pump if the bore shows significant wear.
