Like all Ancor drop cables, it’s thinner and more pliable than backbone cable, making it easy to route through tight spaces, under consoles, and along cable trays.

Drop Cable vs. Backbone Cable

Drop cables connect individual devices to the network; they are not backbone cable and should not be used to extend the main trunk.
