The Garmin Power Cable for GMR™ Radars is the dedicated 48 ft (14.6 m) power feed cable for Garmin GMR dome radar installations. It connects the radar dome to the vessel’s 12V DC power supply via a threaded, weatherproof connector, providing a secure and reliable power connection that resists vibration loosening in marine conditions.
Note that Garmin GMR dome radars require two separate cables: a power cable (this item) and a network/data cable. The network cable carries radar data between the dome and the chartplotter and is typically included with the radar dome at purchase. This power cable is the dedicated power-only run and is sold separately.

Best use case: This cable is needed when the power run from the vessel’s DC distribution panel to the radar dome mounting location exceeds the length of any power cable included with the dome, or when replacing a damaged power cable on an existing installation. The 48 ft length suits most arch-to-panel or mast-to-panel runs on vessels up to approximately 45–50 ft. On larger vessels or those with the distribution panel located far from the helm, measure the intended run before ordering to confirm 48 ft is sufficient. Remember that GMR domes also require a separate network cable between the dome and the chartplotter — confirm both cables are accounted for before completing the installation plan. Network cables are typically included with the radar dome but should be verified against the dome’s included accessories list.
