Hella Seahawk 470 — Spread Lens LED Light Bar, 30°×60° Beam
The Hella Seahawk 470 Spread Lens trades center-punch reach for dramatically wider side coverage — its 30°×60° beam maintains the same 30° vertical height as the Spot, but doubles the horizontal width to 60°. The result is a broad, even wash of light that's highly effective for close-range situational awareness, particularly in confined or busy waterways where seeing what's to the sides matters as much as what's directly ahead.
Built on the same Seahawk 470 platform, it features a corrosion-proof housing, Grilamid® UV-resistant lens, and a polished 316 stainless steel bracket with an adjustable mounting system for upright or pendant installation. Pre-wired with 2.5m of bare-wire cable. IP67-rated and backed by a 5-year warranty.

The Spread Lens is the right choice when wide lateral visibility matters more than long-range throw — maneuvering through tight marina berths, docking in low-light conditions, or illuminating a broad deck or cockpit area. It's particularly effective mounted at the bow or helm when navigating confined waterways at slow speed. If you need both reach and width from a single bar, the Combi (Spot + Spread) is worth considering. For maximum long-range illumination in a narrow beam, the Spot Lens is the better fit.
