The Hella Seahawk 470 Wide Spread Diffused is built for broad, comfortable area illumination rather than directional reach. Its diffused lens scatters light evenly across a wide field with no hot spot or harsh center punch — delivering soft, glare-reduced output that's ideal for cockpit, deck, and work-area lighting where you want to see everything around you without blinding crew or other boaters nearby.
Built on the Seahawk 470 platform with a corrosion-proof housing, Grilamid® UV-resistant lens, and polished 316 stainless steel bracket. The adjustable mounting system supports both upright and pendant installation. Pre-wired with 2.5m of bare-wire cable. IP67-rated and backed by a 5-year warranty.

Best Use Case
The Wide Spread Diffused is the right choice for cockpit and deck flood lighting where broad, comfortable illumination matters more than reach or directionality — entertaining at anchor, working on deck at night, or lighting a swim platform. The diffused output reduces glare for crew and passengers, making it significantly more comfortable for close-range use than a spot or spread beam. It is not suited to navigation or long-range illumination tasks; for those applications, the Spot or Combi lenses are the better fit.
