The Hella Seahawk 470 Spread Lens delivers a 30°×60° beam pattern — the same 30° vertical height as the Spot, but with double the horizontal width at 60°. The result is a broad, even wash of light that prioritizes lateral visibility over long-range center punch, making it highly effective for close-range situational awareness in confined or busy waterways.
Built on the Seahawk 470 platform with a corrosion-proof housing, Grilamid® UV-resistant lens, and polished 316 stainless steel bracket. The adjustable mounting system supports both upright and pendant installation. Pre-wired with 2.5m of bare-wire cable. IP67-rated and backed by a 5-year warranty.

Best Use Case
The Spread Lens is the right choice when wide lateral visibility matters more than long-range throw — maneuvering through tight marina berths, docking in low-light conditions, or illuminating a broad deck or cockpit area at close range. For both reach and width from a single bar, the Combi is worth considering. For maximum long-range illumination in a narrow beam, the Spot Lens is the better fit.
