Lenco Pro Control Auto Replacement IMU
The IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) is the sensor at the heart of the Lenco Pro Control Auto trim tab system. It continuously measures the vessel’s pitch and roll, feeding real-time data to the controller so the trim tabs adjust automatically to keep the boat level — without any input from the operator.
If your Pro Control Auto system has lost its auto-levelling function while the keypads and actuators are still working, a failed IMU is the most common cause. This direct OEM replacement restores full automatic trim tab operation and connects to your existing CAN bus network using a standard Micro C drop cable.

Compatible Systems
This IMU is compatible with all Lenco Pro Control Auto trim tab systems. It is not compatible with the Pro Control Assist series, which does not use an IMU. For complete Pro Control Auto system kits, see:

Best Use Case: This is the correct part when a customer’s Pro Control Auto system has stopped auto-levelling but the keypads and actuators are still responding. The IMU is the most common point of failure when auto-levelling is lost. Before ordering, confirm the controller and keypads are still communicating — if the entire system is unresponsive, the issue may be with the controller instead (see the Pro Control Auto Controller Kit (15172-107)).
Auto Series Only: The IMU is exclusive to the Pro Control Auto series. The Pro Control Assist series does not use an IMU and has no equivalent part. If a customer with an Assist system asks about auto-levelling, they would need to upgrade to a full Auto system.
Cable Required: The IMU connects via a Micro C drop cable, which is not included. Confirm the customer has a spare port and cable available, or add the Lenco 6’ Micro C Drop Cable (15199101) to the order.
Mounting Location: The IMU must be mounted on a flat, level surface aligned with the vessel’s centerline for accurate readings. Advise customers to follow the installation guide carefully for correct orientation.
