Lenco NMEA 2000 Terminator Resistor Kit – Male/Female
Properly terminate your NMEA 2000 network backbone with this OEM terminator resistor kit from Lenco. Every NMEA 2000 (N2K) network requires a terminating resistor at each end of the backbone to prevent signal reflection and ensure reliable communication between all connected devices. This kit includes both a male and a female terminator, covering both ends of the backbone in a single purchase.
Designed for use with Lenco Pro Control trim tab systems integrated into a vessel’s NMEA 2000 network, this kit ensures the network operates correctly when the Pro Control controller is added as a node on an existing or new N2K backbone.

Best Use Case: This kit is needed when a customer is integrating their Lenco Pro Control trim tab system into a vessel’s NMEA 2000 network and the backbone does not already have terminators installed, or when existing terminators have been lost or damaged. Every properly configured NMEA 2000 backbone requires exactly one terminator at each end — if a customer is building a new N2K backbone from scratch or extending an existing one, confirm that terminators are in place at both ends before commissioning the network.
When Terminators Are Already Present: If the customer’s vessel already has a functioning NMEA 2000 network with terminators installed, they do not need this kit — the existing terminators cover the backbone. This kit is only needed if terminators are missing, damaged, or if a new backbone segment is being created.
N2K vs. Micro C CAN Bus: The Pro Control system uses its own internal Micro C CAN bus network for communication between the controller, keypads, IMU, and actuators. The NMEA 2000 terminator kit is for the vessel-level N2K backbone — a separate network that the Pro Control controller can connect to as a node. Customers who are not integrating with a vessel N2K network do not need this kit.
Standard Connector Format: NMEA 2000 terminators use the standard DeviceNet Micro-C connector format, which is compatible with all major N2K network brands (Garmin, Simrad, Lowrance, Raymarine, etc.).
