The Lenco 15270-001 is a two-piece LED indicator switch kit designed for single-actuator electric trim tab systems on 12V or 24V boats. By separating the helm keypad from the solid-state control box, this kit significantly reduces the mounting depth required behind the dashboard — making it the right choice for consoles where space is tight.
Two high-intensity LED displays give you a clear, real-time read on tab position at all times. A built-in photo eye automatically adjusts display brightness to match ambient light conditions, and the backlit keypad keeps everything readable after dark.

The 15270-001 is the right call when the helm console doesn’t have enough depth behind the panel for a standard integrated switch — the two-piece design moves the control box to a remote location, leaving only the slim keypad at the helm. It’s also a clean upgrade path for boats with a failed older Lenco switch, provided the existing system is 2017 or newer generation; pre-2017 Lenco keypads and control boxes use different connectors and are not compatible with this kit. Confirm actuator count before ordering — this is the single-actuator version. If your installation uses two actuators (one per tab), a different switch kit is required.
