Helm vs. Flybridge Kit: The Helm Control Kit is the primary purchase for new installations and includes everything needed for a single-station setup. The Flybridge Control Kit is an add-on for dual-station vessels and requires an existing Helm Control Kit already installed on the CAN network.
Pro Control Assist vs. Pro Control Auto: If the customer wants hands-free automatic levelling based on vessel attitude, recommend the Pro Control Auto Controller Kit (15172-107) instead. The Assist requires manual input to set and recall positions; the Auto adjusts continuously via IMU sensor.
Installation Notes: Uses Micro C (NMEA 2000-style) connectors throughout. Confirm existing network backbone before ordering additional drop cable lengths. The Wake Signal Adapter is included for non-Mercury systems.
