Lowrance Transducer Mounting Epoxy
A purpose-formulated epoxy for mounting shoot-thru-hull transducers inside the hull of a fiberglass boat. This epoxy creates a solid, acoustically transparent bond between the transducer face and the hull interior, allowing sonar signals to pass through the hull without drilling a hole or breaking the hull’s integrity.
Designed specifically for use with Lowrance transducers in shoot-thru-hull installations, it ensures a reliable, permanent mount that maintains full sonar performance.
Key Features
- Formulated for shoot-thru-hull transducer installations in fiberglass boats
- Acoustically transparent — allows sonar signals to pass through the hull
- Creates a strong, permanent bond between transducer and hull interior
- Designed for use with compatible Lowrance transducers
Best Use Cases
- Shoot-thru-hull installations — The correct adhesive for mounting a transducer inside a fiberglass hull without cutting a hole
- Permanent transducer mounting — Provides a solid, long-lasting bond that won’t shift or vibrate loose over time
- Fiberglass hulls only — Shoot-thru-hull installations are not suitable for aluminum, wood, or cored composite hulls

Parts Desk Insights
Best use case: Recommend this epoxy specifically for customers doing a shoot-thru-hull transducer installation in a solid fiberglass hull. It is not a general-purpose adhesive — its value is the acoustic transparency that allows sonar to work through the hull material. Remind customers that shoot-thru-hull installations only work in solid fiberglass hulls; aluminum, wood, and cored or foam-filled composite hulls are not suitable. If a customer is unsure about their hull type or installation method, a transom mount is the simpler and more universally compatible option.
