This kit targets two distinct Suzuki engine families: the DF60/DF70 four-stroke (1998–2006, first generation) and the DT90/DT100 two-stroke (1989–2000). The generation boundary on the DF60/DF70 is the most common fitment error — post-2006 DF60/DF70 engines use a different pump design and require 8M6012817 instead. Always confirm the model year before fulfilling an order for DF60 or DF70 applications. Suzuki OEM cross-reference is 17400-87E04; Sierra 18-3254 is the direct aftermarket equivalent. Note this kit contains only four components (wear plate, impeller, impeller key, gasket) — it does not include a housing or full pump body, so confirm the customer’s housing condition if they are doing a full service.
