Product Overview

The Racor S3228SUL is a 2-micron Aquabloc® replacement spin-on filter element for Racor 320R and 490R series gasoline fuel/water separator assemblies, including the 320R-RAC-01 clear-bowl outboard assembly, the 320R-RAC-02 metal-bowl inboard/sterndrive assembly, and the 490R-RAC-01. It provides substantially finer filtration than the standard 10-micron S3228TUL element used in the same assemblies, removing approximately 98% of 4-micron particulate while maintaining the same 1"-14 filter-head thread and S3228 format. The bowl, O-ring, drain, and mounting head are reusable and transfer to the new element at each service. Use S3228SUL when the engine manufacturer specifies a 2-micron element, or when maximum particulate and water removal is required.
