The RAM RAMD-201U is the standard length double socket arm for RAM's D-series 2.25" ball mounting system — the heavy-duty tier of the RAM lineup built for large, heavy marine electronics. It connects two 2.25" ball bases, one at each end, and is the core linking component for most D-series helm and console installations where you need solid reach without going to a long arm.
A single internal spring holds the sockets open for smooth pivoting during adjustment, then locks down firmly when tightened for a rigid, low-flex hold. At standard length, the RAMD-201U is the mid-reach option in the D-series arm family — the right choice for the majority of large-display mounting applications.
